An Adventure West school tour provides so much more than a fun day out for the children. It helps them to grow in confidence and feel a great sense of achievement as they conquer each element of the various activities.

• KAYAKING

  Discover the wildlife and fabulous landscape of Old Head from the sea - all while building confidence on top of the water.

  

• STAND-UP PADDLEBOARDING

  Balance and confidence is the key to conquering stand-up paddleboarding - a perfect way to enjoy the Blueway trails at Old Head Beach.

  

• GUIDED WOODLAND FORAGING WALK

  Brings the forest alive for the children. They will be amazed by what is literally growing under their feet – lunch is all around!! They will gain invaluable knowledge of local trees, fauna and foraging, along with some natural and cultural history of Old Head Forest and the surrounding area.

  

• ARCHERY

  As Robin Hood well knows, traditional archery takes years to master but you can get a good start by learning from our experienced instructors. The look of excitement and pride on a child’s face, when they finally hit their target, is priceless. Good aim, dexterity, strength and, more importantly, patience are essential skills that they will gain through this challenge.

  

• SNORKELLING

  The perfect way to discover the underwater world of Clew Bay! It’s great fun, easy to learn and an excellent way to build up confidence in the water.
